becky and I met senator and michelle obama today

Becky and I went out for a sandwich in our town in Keizer, Oregon.  Senator and Michelle Obama’s motorcade pulled up in Keizer for an unannounced visit.  We got to meet them.

Becky told Senator Obama ”God called you for a time such as this and as long as you are obedient to what God calls you to do, whether or not you are elected, you will be successful.  If you are disobedient, you will fail.”  He responded by saying “I believe what God says and that is very good advice” and than he gave her a hug.

I told Senator Obama that we came from back east and planted a church here.  He asked me what the name of the church was and I told him www.LovingGodFellowship.org .  He said “we need good churches”.  I told Michelle that we were praying for them and she gave me a hug and said that they really appreciated prayer.

I don’t think meetings like this are by chance. Do you?

You are right - this was not a chance meeting. It's amazing how God works, isn't it?

What a cool thing to have happen!! God obviously had the two of you in the right place at the right time.

I'm sure all the local Obama bashers are just thrilled about your meeting.

I'm just thrilled that God used you and Becky to give His encouragement and word of truth to Obama.

God is using you in mighty ways for his purpose!

I believe the next 4-8 years will be the most important times for a Christian that our country has seen in more than 100 years. It is very important that our country has the right leaders during this time.

I am still undecided about who to vote for as President, but I am encouraged more by the opinions of day-to-day Christians than I am by the speeches that are given by the candidates.

If Greg and Becky came away from their brief meeting with the Obamas, having an opinion that they are "good people", then it does a lot to help me in making my decision.

Greg and Becky - you are doing awesome work, and I thank you for sharing with us.

that is pretty sweet. obama in little ol keizer. random.

Pastor Greg n Becky,
This surely was devined appointment for you to have met Obama n his wife. The Lord always has devine appointments. for the Lord is good
